Where can I use your calling cards to make overseas calls?
You can use our calling cards at any of the telephone in Singapore, for example Hotel Phone, House phone, Mobile phone* or Public Payphone*. In additional, you may also use the card in other countries that we provide the International Access Numbers.
* 1800 Toll Free access number cannot be used in StarHub Payphone. When calling the 1800 Toll Free number from payphone, surcharge will apply. Local air-time charges will incur when calling using Mobile Phone. [back to top]

How do I use your calling card to make calls?
The instructions are printed at the back of the card.
1)   First, dial the access number, 6766 3939, 6622 9588 or 1800-766 3939. You will be prompted to select the language. Press One for English, Two for Chinese, Three for Tagalog (Philippines), Four for Indonesian, Five for Tamil, and Six for Thai.
2)   Enter the 12 digit card numbers (scratch to reveal) located at the bottom left of the back of the card upon hearing the next prompt. Your card's balance will be read to you from the system.
3)   Subsequently, enter your overseas telephone number in the order of country code + area code + tel. no + '#' key. Your call will be connected in a few seconds. The maximum talk time of your call will also be read to you.

Do I need to insert the calling card at the payphone to make calls?
No. You do not need to insert the card into the payphone to make calls.

Calling rates to different overseas countries are different. You may find these calling rates at www.chatchat.com.sg or call our customer service at 6838 7737.

Would I be charged for local calls when I use your calling card?
Depending on the access number you dial from,
1)   6766 3939 and 6622 9588 is NOT a toll free number. Prevailing local call charges is applicable during the whole of call.
2)   1800-766 3939 number is a toll free number. You will not be charged for dialing this number from normal Phone*. However, surcharge of per minute may apply if you are calling public payphone, which will be deducted from the card directly.
* 1800 Toll Free access number cannot be used in StarHub Payphone. Certain phones may bar users from calling the 1800 Toll Free number. Local air-time charges will incur when calling using Mobile Phone.

How do I register numbers to your calling card?
You can register multiple numbers including fixed line or mobile numbers to our calling card,
1)   Dial access number 6877 5988.
2)   Enter card number.
Alternatively, SMS with the text content 'RE CardNo' (E.g. RE999988887777) to register your mobile number or 'RE CardNo # PhoneNo' (E.g. RE999988887777#60128888888) to register other phone number and send to +65 9229 5935. Please refer here for more of the SMS commands that you can use.

How do I de-register numbers to your calling card?
In the case of your card number has expired or you wish to register your number to another card type, you may de-register your number from current card.

Can I use your calling card to make Singapore calls?
Yes. If you have registered your mobile number, you can use local call back service to make calls to Singapore numbers. [back to top]

Can I use your calling cards in other countries?
Yes. You can dial the International Access Numbers from other countries or register your overseas mobile number to the cards and use international callback service from overseas. [back to top]

What is the card top-up function?
Card top-up function allows you to top-up the card values by combining the multiple cards value into one. You may do so in order to maintain only one card number rather than a few or to simply combine multiple cards of smaller values into a bigger one. [back to top]

How do I use the card top-up function?
If you have registered your numbers to the card,
1)   Dial access number 6877 5988.
2)   Enter card number.
The balance of the card entered will be transferred to the card you number registered to. You will hear the new balance.
Alternatively, you can SMS with text content 'TP CardNo' and send to +65 9229 5935.

How else can I top up the value of my calling card?
You may use any of the following methods.
1)   Use your VISA or MASTER credit card to top up on-line. Minimum top up will be $10.00.
2)   Use your VISA or MASTER credit card to top up by calling our customer service at 6838 7737. Minimum top up will be $10.00.
3)   Top up at the eload station island wide. Please call our customer service at 6838 7737 to find out the nearest eload station near to your place.
4)   After you have registered your number, download the CHATCHAT APP from iPhone App or Google Play. Make in-app purchase top up your card.

What is the expiry date of the card after topping up?
The system will pick the latest expiry date between two cards that was combined to become the new expiry date. If the top-up were done on-line or via S.A.M. by SingPost, the expiry date will be 180 days from the current date. [back to top]

What is the speed-dial function?
Speed-dial function allows you to store up to 9 numbers in your card for easy & fast dialing to overseas numbers. [back to top]

How do I set the speed-dial in the card?
Follow the steps,
1)   Dial access Number 6877 5922.
2)   Press 3 to select to set speed-dial memory.
3)   Press 01 to 09 to select speed-dial memory 01~09.
4)   Enter overseas country code, area code, telephone number followed by # key.
8)   If you wish to continue to store number in another speed-dial memory, wait for the voice prompt instructions and repeat the steps.
9)   To exit, just hang up the phone.
Alternatively, you can SMS with text content 'SD'+01~09+'#'+PhoneNumber from registered numbers and send to +65 9229 5935.(E.g. 'SD01#60128888888' to set speed dial memory '01' to '60128888888')

How do I use the speed-dial in the card?

1)   Dial the CallDirect access number 6622 9595.
2)   Wait for the prompt "Please enter the country code"
 
-   Enter "01" + "#" to call speed-dial memory "01" number
-   Enter "02" + "#" to call speed-dial memory "02" number

How do I change the speed-dial memory?
Follows the steps for setting the speed-dial memory. By re-entering the same speed dial memory location, it will over-write the existing number that is already stored inside. [back to top]

Can I continue to use the same speed dial memory setting after I have finished the value inside the card?
Yes. You can do so by topping up the values in your existing card. As long as you maintain using the same card number, you will be able to use the same speed dial memory setting. [back to top]

What is CallDirect service? How do I use it?
CallDirect is a service for you to dial from your fixed line and mobile to make overseas calls without the need to entering card numbers. To use this service, you will need to first register your numbers to our calling card. After that, simply dial 1526 CountryCode + AreCode + Tel.No from any of the registered numbers and your call will be connected. Alternatively, dial 6622 9595 and you will be prompted to enter the destination number. All calls will be charged to your calling card.
* Local air-time charges will incur when calling using Mobile Phone. Surcharge per minute applies when dialing using 1526.
